2.30 #1 DUBROVNIK was good at his debut, did have every chance in next start when favourite. Now gets the blinkers on, fitter, maps well and an extra furlong. Ticks a lot of boxes to make amends.

2.15 #7 LOCARNO strips fitter for the first-up run but was beaten a long way. Has a good claimer. Drops slightly in distance and will roll forward to break through. 

May find a bit of value with #2 EL WONDER in this. Has done nothing fresh in previous preps but recent trials suggests he may surprise these with 5 kg claim. Watch betting. 

2.45 #4 FEW DOLLARS MORE will be fitter for two sound runs back from a spell and gets her chance to break through in present form. She is probably one of the best bets of the day here. 

3.15 #3 AN JOLIE finally broke through for an overdue win last start before the spell. Goes up in grade in a similar race and can repeat the dose. 

3.45 Plenty of money around for #4 FROSTY resuming, maybe just didn't handle the heavy track like her sire Cape Cross's other progenies. Obvious has plenty of ability and deserves another chance. 

#2 KODIAC QUEEN steps up from an impressive maiden win and has both the pedigree and the style of racing that suggests she can stay the trip and cannot be left out with the only claimer in this field. A definite threat to top pick. 

4.15 #8 FURY has had plenty of chances but may improve up on the speed with the blinkers on for this and should be suited over this trip.

4.45 #8 SERENITA is consistent filly who has won two from four. Still scope for improvement and has early speed which will stand her in good stead. Hard to catch.     

5.15 #7 WINNING GIRL had specking when ran a much improved race when resuming from lengthy lay-off. Will surely have only benefitted enormously for having had that run under her belt. Drops in grade and will appreciate the rise in distance.

3.30 #2 SPIRIT AND TRUTH ran down #4 AMAZING CHARM last time they met, the latter meets him better in the weights here and gets the stable's first rider on board. Will burn forward and might be tougher to catch in this small field with a furlong less to travel. Strong fancy. 

4.00 #1 SACHI didn't see out the trip last start. Previous good win puts her in with an excellent chance. 

4.30 Ignore his last start over unidentical distance #2 GERMAN GUIDE form is not that bad with a mid-field finish in a strong races in summer. Chance on those runs. 

5.00 #3 APPALOOSA steps down in grade after running at the higher level races in winters. Although resumes after lengthy lay off but looks well prepared and the class drop can do the trick in this moderate set. 

5.30 #10 SALTORO RIDGE is resuming after a short break, is superior on class in this company, the claim helps and he can show up fresh, watch for support.
