Mumbai Derby Day selections.
1.15- Sparingly raced UNCLE SCROOGE still has scope to improve, now drops down in grade and so is worth considering in this moderate field.
1.45- IMITATION GAME was given a nice educative run on debut and this half bred to Illidan is sure to come on a bundle for the run and over this mile trip looks a frontline contender to score over here.
2.15- After his last impressive victory THE CHAMP has been judiciously prepared , open to any amount of improvement and looks the one all have to beat.
2.45- Could not stay the Derby trip FLASHING HONOUR now steps down in class & distance & taking on relatively weak field he has a fair chance to gain overdue maiden success.
3.30- Lightly raced filly HIMALAYAN QUEEN has very good record overall and although making her seasonal debut, her track work suggests she may have a say at the wire.
4.00- Ignore her last run in Bangalore Oaks fashionably bred VERBIER now back to a much more realistic level and has a good chance to resume her progress.
4.35- LORD DARLINTON ran a promising race last time on debut in the Triple million and looks well to earn her maiden bracket in this competitive race for maidens.
5.15- Clearly head and shoulders above the other fillies of her generation 1000G & Indian Oaks winner MYRTLEWOOD has a fair chance to conquer the colts and geldings and win the Indian Derby title.
Don't ignore SEALORD in your all pools this Bangalore challenger should run a big race with run under his belt.
6.00- Ignore his last couple of runs HARVEY now drops down in class & trip & looks to be a strong fancy to regain his winning thread.
Also don't discount INDIAN SERENADE this speedy customer looks a dark horse who can upset if fit and ready to go.
DAYS BEST: THE CHAMP
BEST OF LUCK..!!
