2.15 #1 THOR OF ASGARD had a couple of goes at the mile without luck. He has the staying potential and step up to the 2000m looks ideal. With a well-timed ride from the back he'll be steaming home.

2.45 #4 RAIDAN did it tough on debut and did good job to finish so close. Better for the outing and extra distance suits. Hard to beat. 

3.15 Happy to put #7 ROUSSEAU on top after two promising efforts and the derby trip should be perfect for him. He'll grind out the trip strong and a repeat of his last run is good enough. 

3.45 #4 GOVERNOR GENERAL was touch disappointing when favourite here last start resuming. May have needed that run and if you can forgive that outing he looks the one to beat. Strong fancy. 

4.15 #5 PHOENIX KNIGHT looks the one to beat here following a strong finishing 2nd this track and trip last start. 

Ignore his last run #8 BULLION EXPRESS merits attention for his earlier close 2nd at this trip and the 5kg apprentice should give him a nice run in transit and can upset at this feather weight. 

4.45 #8 STAR SCHOLAR ran a nice forward race last time out over 1400m trip. 

Suited back in trip and with Suraj taking the ride he will be hard to hold out.

Keep an eye on #2 KISS FROM A ROSE who has been eased in grade and can give this a shake. 

5.15 Proven stayer #4 SEVERUS has dominated in recent runs at galloping trips and this doesn't look any harder. Likely to bring up the hat-trick.
