First day of Mysore winter season,unlike Mumbai or Bangalore to predict the winner in Mysore is not an easy job,as many times the horse is backed at the race time and wins without any tracks or with mediocre jockey astride.
Hope some of the choices may oblige either by winning or placing.
RACE 1] For maiden Indian Horses 2 YRS Only.
Always a difficult task to choose a winner in such field were each of them is showing
good track work,in such scenario one should always prefer eldest of the lot,obviosly
. . after looking conditions of the horse in paddock(especially 2 yrs)

GOLDEN STEPS :Very good spurt on 5/11 with same jockey astride
May upset.
SMALL CRUISE: Had a good forward run in race no 118 finished close 6th to Belle Etoile
CATWALK QUEEN:Handicap is stiff but pedigree suggests extended trip may suit her.
GOLDEN TIME: Very good on tracks ,extended distance will suit.
YOUNG GALLANT: Good on tracks.Should place.

RACE 3] Another race for horse rated 00 to 25
Bad race in terms of betting, four three yrs old pitted against older horse.
Selections: SPARK OF BLUE/BLUE ZONE/INDIAN HERO
RACE 4] Class IV race for 4 yrs old and over.(1200m)
LITTLE ATHENA: Ran close 5th to Absolute pressure in race no 136.Jockey change to Gnaneshwar.
Good on tracks.Now running in 4 yrs over & co.
BRIGADE'S PARADISE: on promotion after winning in lower class, jockey change to R. Vaibhav.Working good on tracks.
AREAL ACROBAT: Consistent performer in Mysore main season,same jockey astride ,weight in favour.
MAVERICAL:Jockey switch to Arshad Alam, will try start to finish, may upset.

RACE 5] For horses rated 40 to 65 (1400 m)
Looks like anybody's race,difficult to select certain horse for win. Selection is based upon the tracks and recent running of the horses.
My selections: BREEZO/APRIL SHOWERS/GUN POWDER
My choice BREEZO(if money comes on him,may win/place good chance.
RACE 6] Class IV race (1600 m)
This race seems between four 3 years old in the field Always Love,Belle Etoile,Chandini & Secret Missile.
ALWAYS LOVE: Ignore for win as Black cash progeny rarely stays a mile trip.
BELLE ETOILE : Presence of out of form YSS ??

RACE 7] Race for horses rated 60 and above (1400m)
This race seems to be a gift race to Keturah.

RACE 8] Class IV race for 4 yrs old & over (1200m)
Another bad race.
My selections INFATUATION/FLIRTING KING/GOLDEN SLIPPER
RACE 9] Class III race (1400m)
Good race,Carisa working extremely good on tracks with jockey changed to M. Noornabi and 200 less to travel is the horse everybody will have to beat here.

My choice CARISA for win
Keep an eye on DELTA DELIGHT
