#1 GDAŃSK is conceding weight and looks out handicapped here but is the only recent course and distance winner. #2 HAPPY BIRTHDAY is running some game races over distance trios and gets the rider for the job. Is better on scales against first name. #3 VENTURA is slowly coming back in form and has the handicap chance against these. Is the winner of 2000m race and this half bred to Washington can strike with only cloimer in this set. #4 GOLD BOND will strip fitter second-up from spell and has age and weight in favour but takes a sharp jump in distance.

RACE 2 #1 DAFFODIL returns from much needed rest and is the only recent winner at this track and trip. Although she looks out handicapped against few over here but she is capable of defying handicapper. Has age in her favour. #2 VULCAN drops in grade and is more suitable at mile and a half. #3 UNCLE SCROOGE is consistent and is better placed on scales against first name but doesn’t iappeal with this rider. #4 ETERNAL SUNSHINE is consistent and is trying for a while. She has better handicap against the first name to reverse the verdict. #5 FRIVILOUS resumes after a short spell and has been extensively prepared after a flop show as a favourite. Steps up in grade and drops in distance and will be strongly fancied by the connections for this trophy.

3.30 RACE 3 

#1 GRAND CHIEFTAN ran a good race on debut and can improve. Half bred to Germanicus #2 NOBLEMAN makes his debut for Pesi Shroff stables. Must respect. #5 BOURBON PRINCESS is from weak sire and looks ordinary type. #7 KAMCHENJUNGA drops in grade and ran a forward race on debut in much stronger grade. Need not find much more from that run to take this out.

4.00 RACE 4 

#2 CLYMENE comes off outstanding wins at his last two starts here. Looks a top sprinter in making and can complete her hatrick of wins. #4 DOUBLE NINE won well last out and has penalty to tackle. Doesn’t impress for win. #5 SHAMWARI resumes back from a short spell and and can fill the placings back in ideal trip. Stablemates #7 WILD FIRE and #8 GOD’S OWN have shown glimpses of ability and are contenders for medals.

4.30 RACE 5 

#1 ADAM has plenty of weight to carry over an extra furlong. #2 DANCING PRANCES last run was suggestive as he was seen finishing on, now steps up in trip but looks vulnerable to the younger horses. #3 NEW ENGLAND is knocking on the door after string of fine performances and we know he will run out this journey strongly. Appeals on handicap. #5 ST ANDREWS will appreciate the step up in trip and can threaten. #6 YANNA RASCALA is racing in consistent form and can sneak into placings.

5.00 RACE 6 

#1 CHARGING TIGRESS can strike among older horses over 1400m trip, tough here. #3 Ignore his last effort in much stronger company #3 BESHIKTASH was impressive winner prior and can strike in this set. #6 STALLION may have needed last run back from a short spell. Now strips fitter but has a negative draw for an extended trip. #8 SLAM DUNK should look to roll forward in a race without much early pace under weak rider. #9 ZANZIBAR may find this trip bit sharp for his comfort. #10 ALYATIES is in great form and will look for the hatrick. Is up in grade but has low weights to fight out.

#5 FLOWER DUST drops in distance and has been tracked. 3.5kg claim helps. 

#8 STAR ACE is the another one who drops in trip and rider repeats. #10 THE OTHER SONG resumes from a short break and has impressed in tracks. Will give this a shake. #11 REPLICA finished on the placegetters last start. Should be right at her peak and rates as one of the key chances at this handicap.

6.00 RACE 8 

#1 AEOLUS MAXIMUS drops in grade but doesn’t appeal conceding weight to youngsters. #2 FENCING has the worst rider for a try. #3 SHAKIN STEVENS strips fitter after finishing leisurely under work rider last start resuming and can earn his maiden bracket with positive switch in rider. Has been painstakingly prepared. #5 DOUBLEDOWN is well prepared and If he takes any improvement with the blinkers on first time he'll be in a fighting line. Don’t ignore. #10 WHOOPSIDAISY ran a much improved race last time and will fight out. Has low weights.

3.15 #6 PURITY finished on the placegetters heels at 1200m trip last start after covering ground in the run. Extra distance suits and can earn her maiden bracket. 

3.45 #5 MINT has been a model of consistency this time in and overdue for a win. Drops in grade and appeals on handicap. 

4.15 In form #5 RUM RUNNER comes off outstanding wins at his last two starts here. Hard to go past. 

Ignore his both starts since resuming #9 GYPSY is rarely far away and looks the danger. Gets in well after the claim. 

4.45 #2 AMBER CROWN was only getting warm when race was over at 1200m last start and can strike now stepping up in trip. Hard to beat among his age group. 

5.15 #5 SO MI DAR showed speed to lead last time only to be picked off late. Drops slightly in distance and can break through. Previous effort at this trip and grade was notable. 

#2 DYNMISM has been consistent in this class and would not leave out of chances.

5.45 #11 BIRCHWOOD knocks on the door after two good runs. From the ideal draw he should threaten. Appeals on weights.

#4 GRAND ACCORD [3.00] was held up badly last then finishing close to Smasher earlier at this tracks and distance. He showed good improvement to finish 3rd last start at 2000m trip. Up in grade and trip he can strike now with ace rider in saddle. 

#4 RISING BRAVE [3.30] put in an eye catching run here over a shorter distance finishing close 2nd to speedy Lincoln last start. Will appreciate the extra distance and positive jockey change gives him the chance to go one better. 

Well bred son of classy Fond Fantasy #1 BARACK [4.00] must be respected from the ace trainer Pesi Shroff’s yard on debut, The colt has oodles of raw talent of these and can show it here with a maiden win. 

#4 OOMPH [4.30] ran on well from a long way back to finish a good 3rd in prestigious PBMM last start. Bound to have been improved by the experience and will appreciate the rise in distance. Hard to beat. 

Got abroad nicely bred #5 YELLOWSTONE [5.00] is resuming from a long lay off. He started favourite on debut but disappointed. Has impressed in trials and can earn his maiden bracket in this moderate set. 

#5 SPITFIRE [5.30] charged home for an impressive maiden win last time with more in hand and will be suited up to this distance with good speed on up front. Capable of a repeat.

#3 TENERIFE looks ready for maiden win after a string of consistent runs. This not difficult and is the one to beat.

 #4 ALOHA devoured good ground in the straight last time to suggest the rise to this distance is what she needs. An upset chance. 

6.00 #2 ANGELS HARMONY hit the line solidly ( T E O Time & Dixieland )to run into placing last start. Extra distance ideal and gets chance to win. 

6.30 Well prepared #5 GLYNDEBOURNE is strongly fancied to exact revenge on her last start conqueror Forest Fairy and capture the Thursday feature.

7.00 Sparingly raced #5 ADELINE is racing well. She broke her blood vessel last start and can go one better. 

#6 ALPINE EXPRESS hasn't fired for a long time and saves her best for when Sandesh jumps on board. Keep safe. 

7.30 #1 COLLEGIUM struggled last start after working hard in the lead. Locked and loaded for an improved showing back to this grade. 

8.00 #4 NEMBE GREEK gets in well at the weights after the claim and a winning hope in this moderate field.

 #6 DECLARATION OF WAR [2.15] knocks on the door after two good runs this time in work. From the ideal draw she has a fair chance to earn her long overdue maiden bracket.

#7 MASTERS GLORY was not disgraced when resuming in a race where the winner scored by plenty. And then finished on the placegetters heels at 1400m trip second up. Fitter here and the extra distance suits. May upset. 

#5 SUN POWER [2.15] has looked sharp in barrier trials ahead of his debut. But has drawn awkwardly but if he can get across and find a position will be tough to run down. 

Bred for speed got abroad #11 SAKURA is on debut for a leading trainer. She has shown ability in her trials. Don’t dismiss. 

Full bred to speedy Nabisco #6 BELLARIVE [2.45] ran on well from a long way back on debut. Bound to have been improved by the experience and is the one to beat with positive switch in rider. 

#2 BLACK LIGHTNING [3.15] can bounce back in the right grade. His back to back victories earlier were strong. Note the rider switch. 

#9 BOTSWANA BOLT [3.45] was impressive winning this track and distance last start and can back it up in this field.

Time was good and second horse ( Cold Frontier) has won since. Strong fancy. 

#6 DONT DILLY DALLY [4.45] will be fitter for two sound runs back from a spell and gets chance to go one better with Suraj in saddle. 

#8 LOUSIANA is resuming, she struggled last start as a favourite and had broken her maiden in fine fashion prior. Has impressed in her mock race and can bounce back in this company. Don’t dismiss. 

With positive switch in rider #6 BELLEROPHON [5.15] gets his chance to break through third up back from the spell. This doesn't look a strong race.

Ignore his last effort over shorter scurry #6 GRECIAN LIGHT [5.45] merits strong consideration for his earlier close 3rd at this track and distance with same rider.

Some promising horses engaged here but going with #4 MERLIN [3.00] to go one better after his solid effort in mock race. This half bred to good type Colombiana will be hard to beat. 

#4 GOVERNOR GENERAL [3.30] showed good improvement to finish 2nd this track last start. He looks suited by the step up in distance and is the one to beat. Appeals on weight. 

Highly regarded and sparingly races #1 BOTTEGA LOUIE [4.00] came up short in classic events but looks progressive in handicaps. Her gallant effort in her last handicap event where she went down to Cambridge in stewards room was notable. She looks to have a class edge on her opposition and will be tough to beat despite conceding weights. 

#3 JULIO CESARO [4.30] has speed and with blinkers on should give a sight from the good gate and gets his chance to break through after finishing on board in his past two starts. This doesn't look a strong race.

#3 KHARTOUM [5.00] finished his race off nicely when runner-up at mile trip  resuming last start. Fitter second-up and still plenty of scope for improvement stepping up to the mile and a quarter. 

#4 ARTUS had the run of the race to win stylishly last start at 1800m. Second horse ( Finest Moment) has won demolishing his opposition since so on that form line he can give this a shake. 

Bangalore challenger #2 ESCALA [5.30] 

stays strongly and comes to this with winning form. Go well again with Suraj flown in for only mount. 

#9 BIG SUR ran a good race in much stronger grade (Indian Derby) last start. If he can hold his spot in the first half of the field he can upset. Has age and weight in favour. 

#5 CHECKMATE [6.00] comes off outstanding wins at his last two starts here. Hard to go past.

#3 PERPETUAL WINNING [4.30] hit the line (Spitfire & Kora Jade) strongly when third on debut and faraway fifth last time out in a multimillion event. Drops in grade and gets the chance to go one better with the benefit of race experience against good types stepping up in distance. 

#1 TEXAS GOLD [5.00],strips fitter for the first-up run but was beaten a long way. Steps up at suitable distance and has to give them all weight but should be handy throughout. A value bet. 

#3 DAZZLING EYES [5.30],showed some improvement last start at 1800m trip. The extra distance looks a plus and at least a winning hope with further improvement here. 

#9 DIXIELAND [6.00] caught the eye running on strongly when resuming. With natural improvement and some extra distance she can take this out.

Speedy #3 WILD FIRE 6.30],had a nice lung opener back from the spell. Will strip fitter second-up and and might be tougher to catch. 

Ignore his last effort #3 ARVAN [7.00] merits strong consideration for his excusable (WL/SS) close 3rd in Rno 73. He should be ready to do his best and won't find a thinner race. Appeals on handicap. 

#1 GREY FLANNEL [7.30] is fresh off a short break after couple of listless effort this season. Has impressed in morning trials and strips fitter for a bold show. She has a class edge against this set and 3.5kg claim helps. 

#2 UNTITLED has been racing soundly since resuming winning 2/3 starts. He has plenty of speed and if he can get right run up front may steal this from the corner. Don’t ignore. 

 #2 WILSHIRE [8.00]  is in great form and has hit the line ( Checkmate & Southpaw) solidly to run into placing last start. Extra distance ideal and rider repeats. Hard to beat.

#5 MULTIPLE [12.30] has had her fair share of chances but appears to strike an ideal race to break through this time. Hard to hold out. 

Very consistent #7 VICTORIANA [1.00] has drawn awkwardly but if she can get across and find a position will be tough to run down. Note the rider switch. 

#5 RESPECT [1.30] just cannot win a race. 17-start maiden but eight placings. Hard to recommend as a confident bet but a positive jockey change gives him the chance to go one better. 

#10 GLOAMING [2.00] rises in class on the last-start solid maiden victory second-up and may have been the confidence booster he needed and no surprise to see him go back to back. Appeals on weights and sure to appreciate rise in distance. 

1400m specialist #5 YOUR ROYAL MAJESTY [2.30] has a big weight to carry but is very consistent even at this age and is set to dominate the finish strongly. Serious player. 

#5 BARACCHUS caught the eye last time finishing close 2nd at a sprint trip when resuming and always performs strongly over this distance and should challenge the top pick. 

Course and distance winner #4 WHOMAKESTHERULES [3.00] looks to have a class edge on his opposition and will be tough to beat here back in distance. 

Last year’s Invitation cup winner #3 TEMERITY [3.45] has both class and stamina against this year’s classic crop and with only 2kgs to concede to her younger rivals she seems to have a strong credentials to score a record invitation cup encore. Strong fancy. 

#9 ALISHA’S PET [4.30] finally broke through for an overdue win last start. Goes up in grade and distance and can repeat the dose. 

#6 TAYGETUS has saluted in nearly half of his career starts yet with some seemingly poor form this season over unsuitable trips will be overlooked by some. Genuine winning hope back to his pet distance. Don’t ignore. 

#4 HOME OF THE BRAVE [5.00] gets his chance to break through after placing in his past two starts in stronger company. This doesn't look a strong race.

1-1 TORCH BEARER [1.15] has come down drastically in the scales and has seen much better class in his heydays. With David Allan in saddle he may not prolong his stay here. 

Finished a half-hearted third last time out as a favourite 2-7 RUFUS [1.45] can bounce back and is one to beat at this low weights. 

3-4 RIGOLETTO [2.15] comes off a nice lung opener when ridden in front last start back from a two year lengthy lay off. Strips fitter and he should be hard to hold out. 

3-3 SWEET MUSIC just didn't see out the trip last start. Previous good win puts her in with an excellent chance if top fancy falters. Don’t dismiss. 

4-15 PRANCING QUEEN [2.45] put in a gallant effort last start while finishing late to go down narrowly. Hard to beat with a half furlong more to travel. 

4-4 MONACO is the main danger with consistent form.Appeals on handicap. Each way if you like him.

Western India champion filly 5-10 RUFFINA [3.15],is in cracking form at present and ticks all the boxes to get the premier preference in this reputed grade 1 sprinting event. Strong fancy. 

Failed to collar Winter Renaissance last time out at 2800m under work rider 6-1 AZZURRO can make amends at 3000m with stable’s leading rider onboard. 

7-6 FABIOLA has been well prepared and will improve on her easy first-up performance. Note the massive switch in rider. 

Western India import 8-1 NELSON’S BLOOD  is yet to race here but has been doing well on western India tracks. Must respect. 

8-4 ALSHAFA caught the eye in town last time to suggest the rise to this distance is what she needs. Can upset.
