2.30 RACE 1 

#1 GDAŃSK is conceding weight and looks out handicapped here but is the only recent course and distance winner. #2 HAPPY BIRTHDAY is running some game races over distance trios and gets the rider for the job. Is better on scales against first name. #3 VENTURA is slowly coming back in form and has the handicap chance against these. Is the winner of 2000m race and this half bred to Washington can strike with only cloimer in this set. #4 GOLD BOND will strip fitter second-up from spell and has age and weight in favour but takes a sharp jump in distance.

 Upset #3 VENTURA 

RACE 2 #1 DAFFODIL returns from much needed rest and is the only recent winner at this track and trip. Although she looks out handicapped against few over here but she is capable of defying handicapper. Has age in her favour. #2 VULCAN drops in grade and is more suitable at mile and a half. #3 UNCLE SCROOGE is consistent and is better placed on scales against first name but doesn’t iappeal with this rider. #4 ETERNAL SUNSHINE is consistent and is trying for a while. She has better handicap against the first name to reverse the verdict. #5 FRIVILOUS resumes after a short spell and has been extensively prepared after a flop show as a favourite. Steps up in grade and drops in distance and will be strongly fancied by the connections for this trophy.

3.30 RACE 3 

#1 GRAND CHIEFTAN ran a good race on debut and can improve. Half bred to Germanicus #2 NOBLEMAN makes his debut for Pesi Shroff stables. Must respect. #5 BOURBON PRINCESS is from weak sire and looks ordinary type. #7 KAMCHENJUNGA drops in grade and ran a forward race on debut in much stronger grade. Need not find much more from that run to take this out.

4.00 RACE 4 

#2 CLYMENE comes off outstanding wins at his last two starts here. Looks a top sprinter in making and can complete her hatrick of wins. #4 DOUBLE NINE won well last out and has penalty to tackle. Doesn’t impress for win. #5 SHAMWARI resumes back from a short spell and and can fill the placings back in ideal trip. Stablemates #7 WILD FIRE and #8 GOD’S OWN have shown glimpses of ability and are contenders for medals.

4.30 RACE 5 

#1 ADAM has plenty of weight to carry over an extra furlong. #2 DANCING PRANCES last run was suggestive as he was seen finishing on, now steps up in trip but looks vulnerable to the younger horses. #3 NEW ENGLAND is knocking on the door after string of fine performances and we know he will run out this journey strongly. Appeals on handicap. #5 ST ANDREWS will appreciate the step up in trip and can threaten. #6 YANNA RASCALA is racing in consistent form and can sneak into placings.

5.00 RACE 6 

#1 CHARGING TIGRESS can strike among older horses over 1400m trip, tough here. #3 Ignore his last effort in much stronger company #3 BESHIKTASH was impressive winner prior and can strike in this set. #6 STALLION may have needed last run back from a short spell. Now strips fitter but has a negative draw for an extended trip. #8 SLAM DUNK should look to roll forward in a race without much early pace under weak rider. #9 ZANZIBAR may find this trip bit sharp for his comfort. #10 ALYATIES is in great form and will look for the hatrick. Is up in grade but has low weights to fight out.

5.30 RACE 7 

#5 FLOWER DUST drops in distance and has been tracked. 3.5kg claim helps. 

#8 STAR ACE is the another one who drops in trip and rider repeats. #10 THE OTHER SONG resumes from a short break and has impressed in tracks. Will give this a shake. #11 REPLICA finished on the placegetters last start. Should be right at her peak and rates as one of the key chances at this handicap.

6.00 RACE 8 

#1 AEOLUS MAXIMUS drops in grade but doesn’t appeal conceding weight to youngsters. #2 FENCING has the worst rider for a try. #3 SHAKIN STEVENS strips fitter after finishing leisurely under work rider last start resuming and can earn his maiden bracket with positive switch in rider. Has been painstakingly prepared. #5 DOUBLEDOWN is well prepared and If he takes any improvement with the blinkers on first time he'll be in a fighting line. Don’t ignore. #10 WHOOPSIDAISY ran a much improved race last time and will fight out. Has low weights.
