#5 MULTIPLE [12.30] has had her fair share of chances but appears to strike an ideal race to break through this time. Hard to hold out. 

Very consistent #7 VICTORIANA [1.00] has drawn awkwardly but if she can get across and find a position will be tough to run down. Note the rider switch. 

#5 RESPECT [1.30] just cannot win a race. 17-start maiden but eight placings. Hard to recommend as a confident bet but a positive jockey change gives him the chance to go one better. 

#10 GLOAMING [2.00] rises in class on the last-start solid maiden victory second-up and may have been the confidence booster he needed and no surprise to see him go back to back. Appeals on weights and sure to appreciate rise in distance. 

1400m specialist #5 YOUR ROYAL MAJESTY [2.30] has a big weight to carry but is very consistent even at this age and is set to dominate the finish strongly. Serious player. 

#5 BARACCHUS caught the eye last time finishing close 2nd at a sprint trip when resuming and always performs strongly over this distance and should challenge the top pick. 

Course and distance winner #4 WHOMAKESTHERULES [3.00] looks to have a class edge on his opposition and will be tough to beat here back in distance. 

Last year’s Invitation cup winner #3 TEMERITY [3.45] has both class and stamina against this year’s classic crop and with only 2kgs to concede to her younger rivals she seems to have a strong credentials to score a record invitation cup encore. Strong fancy. 

#9 ALISHA’S PET [4.30] finally broke through for an overdue win last start. Goes up in grade and distance and can repeat the dose. 

#6 TAYGETUS has saluted in nearly half of his career starts yet with some seemingly poor form this season over unsuitable trips will be overlooked by some. Genuine winning hope back to his pet distance. Don’t ignore. 

#4 HOME OF THE BRAVE [5.00] gets his chance to break through after placing in his past two starts in stronger company. This doesn't look a strong race.
