1-6 CANDLELIGHTQUEEN for silver medal stepping up in distance and if top pick falters she can get the gold medal. 

2-3 RACY PRINCESS [2.30] hasn't been far away in last couple of races and no surprise to see him get into the winner’s circle this time. 

3-4 STAR CRACKER [3.00] strips fitter for his effort back from the spell and is expected to prove good enough to strike here. 

4-4 OPTIMISTICAPPROACH [3.30] can prove better than he displayed last time resuming and looks worth another chance to conform the promise of his penultimate victory over this trip in winters. WATCH BETTING

4-11 ALBERETTA was arguably going to be involved in the finish last start but could not get the clear run due to closely packed field. Can make amends.

A bigger danger to the selection, however, may be the demotee 1-1  BELLEROPHON who has been gradually brought down in scales. 

Ignore her last failure 2-8 INTO THE GROOVE [3.00] can make amends. 

3-8 LOVE FOR LIFE [3.30] merits consideration for her penultimative 2nd to Myschief Flyer. Genuine chance now among her own age group. 

3-5 RED GALILEO would be one to consider if he attracted market support. Has impressed in mock race against class 1 animals. 

Twice failed favourite 4-5 LINCOLN [4.00] can recoup losses if ridden with change in tactics. My personal strong fancy. 

5-7 SEDULOUS found Mumbai challenger far better last time out and will appreciate the step up in distance. Appeals on weights.

4.30 The unbeaten #4 SIR CECIL has proved a tough nut to crack of late and the Colt is backed to relish this step up in trip having looked to have stamina in abundance while his main rival Star Superior seems to be a good upto mile trip. Hard to oppose. 

5.10 #6 SECRETIVE FORCE failed to justify favouritism over 7f on debut last start but kept on well in the closing stages, suggesting this additional furlong may well be a source of immediate improvement. 

Keep an eye on #11 ROBERTA who has impressed in morning trials and is bred to make an impact first time up and the daughter of classy Moonlight Romance cannot be ignored.
