Bangalore 30/6/2019

2.00 The handicapper has gone very easy on #2 KIRKWOOD having raised the three-year-old just 7 points for her win last start. The way runner-up Northern Alliance from that contest decimated the opposition yesterday ,KIRKWOOD warrants plenty of respect for her bid to follow up. Crack Of Dawn and I Do What I Do should follow her home.

2.30 Constanza and Donna Bella both merit consideration, but preference is for first timers #2 KNOTTY OAK who is catching the eye in morning trials and #8 GIFT OF GRACE who has impressed in her GP’s and also merits consideration for her bloodlines.

3.00 #4 SIMPLY MAGICAL could enjoy the drop in trip and should be in the firing line. #8 DUTY CALL is the main threat whereas #6 Himachali may need this run back from spell.

3.30 It might pay to side with #6 STAR CAVALRY, who is entitled to improve for his promising reappearance over 6f here earlier in the month. Akita Pro and last start winner Corona Del Corsa complete the shortlist.

4.00 Unbeaten duo of War Hammer and Impavid both have strong claims but preference is for #6 TRAFALGAR who was arguably going to be involved in the finish last time but could not get clear run in final furlong and the Kolkata challenger might have more to offer over this distance. #8 WIZARD OF STOCKS is open to stacks of improvement and merits strong consideration.

4.30 #2 WAR HERO is clearly better than his last run would suggest and he does have a winning chance under a 3kg claimer. The main threats appear to be Constantinople and Baymax.

5.00 #7 ISN’T SHE SPECIAL returned from a lay off to score in handsome style over C&D and, on that evidence, could prove difficult to beat. Magistero and Kambaku can fight it out for the minor honours.

5.30 #3 STAR MAN won in comfortable fashion on his latest start and is well worth another try at this level. Others to note are Amber Crown and Sir Bernardino.

Bangalore 29/6/2019

2.00 #8 SAKURA finished a close-up second in similar company here last start while resuming and a press of the repeat button may well suffice. Peluche and Aesir should also finish on the premises.

2.30 #8 ARROGANCE returns to sprinting after conditioning run over a mile here last time out. She should look to roll forward. Mayurana and Songkran can fight it out for the places.

3.00 #2 NORTHERN ALLIANCE makes most appeal of those with experience and should go close if reproducing the form of his last race over this course and distance. On The Trot and Queen Runner are capable of playing supporting roles.

3.30 Hard to split the top two selections. #4 SIDE WINDER has been brought down significantly in handicap and has shown early speed in races to date and will likely lead/box seat, among the main chances. #12 TARINI carrying less weight and should run fitter for past attempts, commands respect. Others to note are Life Awaits and Good Time Indeed.

4.00 Top rated multi-classic winner #2 DESERT GOD finished runner-up in The S. M. Shah Eclipse Stakes of India (Gr.2) and
The Indian Turf Invitation Cup (Gr.1) at last two coming from well back on both occasions. Although age is against but expecting him to bounce back on his home surface. Adjudicate is the one expected to put up most resistance. Royal Sceptre and Sacred Roman are also noted.

4.30 #8 VICTORIOUS SERMON boasts the most consistent profile in the contest and can get off the mark on this occasion with Star And Garter and Southern Ruler heading the list of dangers.

5.00 Watch race time betting in this race. #2 PERFECTGOLDENERA is the winner of two sprints and will appreciate the drop in trip. He should be in the firing line. Right at the foot of the weights, it might pay to keep an eye on #12 TIGER RETURNS.

5.30 #4 DUXTON wasn't beaten far here when second last time while resuming and has every chance of going one better now from the same mark. Another Rainbow, Three Wishes and Gandharva are others to note.

Bangalore 23/6/2019

2.00 Not a strong maiden. Though Pesi Shroff’s newcomer #8 SASAKWA is a well bred sort and may deliver on her debut. Rosina and Kionia should be finishing well at the business end.

2.35 #3 QUEEN ISABELLA only just missed in driving finish last start at C&D when fresh. Strips fitter and she looks sure to go close again. Grecian Light and Nawabzaadi can fill the frame.

3.10 #7 HARBOUR SUNRISE shaped with an abundance of promise when second over C&D on debut and is entitled to improve with that experience now under her belt. Ice Flow and Hokkaido are both respected representing top stables.

3.45 #5 SALVADOR DALI  is entitled to strip fitter for his nice lung opener last month and can strike now. Appeals on weights. Secretive Force for silver medal.

4.20 A competitive heat in which a chance is taken on Pesi Shroff trained #4 HUNT FOR GOLD who won her first two starts impressively including the Breeder's Produce stakes (Grade 3) and was close third in PBMM earlier in the year and was well beaten in the Karnataka Juveline Million (Grade 3) where she did not get clear passage in the run. Only has to run out a strong 1600m to be in the finish. The booking of David Allan suggests a bold bid is expected. ANJEZE and last start impressive winner WELL CONNECTED should follow her home with later the real danger in the race.

4.55 #3 MEGA IKON impressed when winning a maiden earlier this summer and could make a winning transition into the handicap ranks here off what could be a lenient opening mark. Roma Victor and Desert Rose can scrap it out for the silver medal.

5.30 A tricky race to close the card but the marginal preference is for lightly raced #7 WINNING FORCE resuming back from the spell. She shaped with an abundance of promise when second over C&D in winters and is entitled to improve. Varcasva and Touch Your Destiny are others to note. A big run from #4 EMIDIO  would also come as no surprise as he has significantly brought down in scales and his last run was notable.

Bangalore 22/6/2019

Bangalore 22/6/2019

2.00 Ignore his last effort in a listed event #4 SILENT GUARDIAN made a promising introduction here in winters and can mount a bold bid with normal improvement. Legendary Princess and Ideological are capable of playing supporting roles.

2.35 #1 APOLLO BAY looks the one to side with despite disappointing on his latest outing as a favourite as he might have needed a run back from the spell  and he can prove too good with 3kg claim. #STRIDE OF PEARLS has improved with blinkers on and taken her form to a new level. She cannot be neglected on current form. Scarlet Princess and Smile Of Joy can fight it out for the places.

3.10 #2 KNIGHT TEMPLAR bumped into a runaway winner when second at this track last month, and might have more to offer over this distance. Sir Supremo has some good form in the book, while that comment also applies to Tenno Sho.

3.45 #1 INTO THE GROOVE came on strong when just beaten last start at C&D when first up, hard to hold out. Agni and Angelino look the pair to concentrate on for minor honours.

4.20 #3 ARECA LEGEND was a clear winner here last time and has a fantastic chance of following up. Spiritous held on gamely over track and trip latest and warrants plenty of respect in her bid for hattrick, rates as the main danger. Louisiana looks best of the rest.

4.55 Bred in purple #2 COSMOS looks the pick of the recent winners and this son of Hills and Stars has more to offer over a mile and a furlong and rates as a decent bet. Next on the list is Foi Et Amour, who got back on track when second last time. Velocidad may need this outing back from the spell.

5.30 #6 CHANTELLE gets top rider on-board and can earn her maiden tag. While #10 DARAHASINI cannot be ignored on the back of a good win. Musterion and Adventurer are others to note.

Bangalore 16/6/2019

2.00 Ignore his last start #1 HERE AND NOW will relish the step up in trip. Hard to beat.

2.30 #4 ABIRA showed up well on seasonal debut and should build on that.

3.00 #1 ANFIA let-up and comes back to race at a lower level, impressed in her debut victory, strong contender.

3.30 #1 BAYMAX has outstanding form at this track and has shown early speed in races to date, genuine contender.

4.00 #3 LA RONDINE let down favourite backers last time and now with benefit of a run she could easily make amends.

4.30 Indian Derby winner #2 STAR SUPERIOR has a wealth of stakes and Graded experience under his belt and and is expected to prove too classy for his rivals.

5.00 #6 AEROSPEED just needed his last run and could make a race of it.

5.30 Ignore his last run over a mile #3 MULTIFACETED should make hay this summer and this well bred gelding can follow up his debut victory.

Bangalore 15/6/2019

Bangalore 15/6/2019

2.00 Port Of Beauty has shown plenty of promise on both her starts to date and she can make it third time lucky but the preference is for #7 SILVER SWIFT who is the only runner in the field with the benefit of a run to her name other than Debonair who has yet to show any improvement after four starts and hence the former could put her experience to good use as she has greater scope for improvement.

2.30 Sparingly raced #2 SHIVALIK SHOW was closing fast when suggestive fourth over 1100m last start when fresh, and with this step up in trip sure to suit, she looks the way to go. Note the massive switch in rider. Glorious Days is respected along with Dallas.

3.00 #1 ARECA ANGEL  just needed her last run and if given a green signal she could make a race of it else #10 DEPTH CHARGE can strike if he can build on his last effort before the spell.

3.30 Preference is for lightly raced #9 TREASURE DELIGHT who made a highly promising start to his career in winters and will be hard to beat with improvement on the cards. Also keep an eye on #3 SPIRITOUS who held on gamely over track and trip latest and warrants plenty of respect in her bid to follow up.

4.00 #8 LADY LEGEND finished a good second in similar company here last month and that form has been boosted with the winner striking again since. Based on that evidence this four-year-old could take plenty of beating. Last start fluent winner Arabia and Brainstorm should also finish on the premises.

4.30 #1 AUSTRALIS has been contesting events at a higher level than the majority of her rivals and she can take full advantage of encountering calmer waters. #9 WILD WILD ANGELS has to enter the reckoning, along with Nitromax.

5.00 The drop in grade can see #3 SCARLET PRINCESS return to winning ways, possibly at the main expense of Find and Sadaqat.

5.30 #10 CANDLELIGHTQUEEN produced a respectable effort to make the podium  last start and could have more to come on her reappearance. The main threats are likely to be I Do What I Do and Tokyo Rose.

Good Luck

Bangalore 9/6/2019

Bangalore 9/6/2019

2.00 Simply Majestic and Aleef both merit consideration, but preference is for #1 EKLAVYA after his encouraging return to action here last month. He will relish the step up in distance.

2.35 #5 SONGKRAN has gone extremely close over sprints the last thrice and makes plenty of appeal once again especially with positive switch in saddle. Chula Vista and Show Girl are capable of playing supporting roles.

3.10 #4 NATALMA needs to leave behind her reappearance effort, which quite simply wasn't her true running. She is even better over this trip and should be right there. King Creole looks best of the rest ahead of Another Rainbow.

3.45 Fair Warning is knocking on the door and should go close, though narrow preference is for recent 6f winner #7 STANDOUT, for whom this extra yardage looks ideal. Set To Win is no forlorn hope for a place. While #6 PIPER REGINA ended her winter campaign with a victory and the five-year-old can make a winning return to action. Keep an eye.

4.20 #2 MAURITANIA looks the one to side with despite disappointing on his latest outing while resuming and he can prove too strong stepping down over a sprint. He is better than he showed last time and gives Padmanabhan a strong hand in the contest. Though a big danger will be Suraj Narredu astride #4 ACCOLADE who is entitled to come on for his reappearance.

4.55 #8 KIRKWOOD showed considerable promise in her last start when good third over C&D and she can put that experience to good use, edging out newcomer Sir Lancelot and Hukumat.

5.30 Star Cavalry is improving between runs and commands respect being the only 3yo maiden winner though preference is for #9 MARCO POLO, who won here last time but was disqualified for drug positive and now has to prove himself. Appeals on weights.

Bangalore 8/6/2019

Bangalore 8/6/2019

2.30 #3 ORENDA’s losing run is a slight concern but she's been thereabouts of late and might be up to getting her head back in front in this weak set. She is taken to get the better of stable companions Charmed Life and Supernormal.

3.05 Commodus and Donna Bella are of real interest first time out but preference is for #10 CONSTANZA, who made a debut full of promise when a close third over 6f in winters. The twice-raced half bred to Star Alliance brings stakes of experience to the table and will be the one to beat.

3.40 #7 INCITATUS came on strong when good third last start at 1200m trip when first up back from the spell and Suraj Narredu on-board a bonus, hard to hold out. Jayadratha and Amazing Angel could take advantage if the selection doesn't perform to his best.

4.15 #3 COURAGE just needed his last run and could make a race of it. He has a wealth of experience under his belt and the booking of Suraj Narredu suggests a bold bid is expected. Stablemates Saint Petersburg and Cerise Noir can scrap it out for the silver medal.

4.50 #1 PRODIGAL didn't get very far when jumped awkwardly and unseating his rider early on over C&D last month and can make amends here in what looks a very winnable contest. Stari Grad and Master Of Wars are both entitled to come on for the run.

5.25 Unbeaten #1 AMBROSIO is in the form of his life chasing a hat-trick and is going to take some stopping judged on his latest success when resuming. Akita Pro and Game Changer are others expected to go well. A big run from well bred #3 AEOLUS  would also come as no surprise. keep an eye.

Bangalore 2/6/2019

Bangalore 2/6/2019

2.00 #8 WIZARD OF STOCKS made a promising start in a grade 3 event at MUMBAI before the spell and looks sure to progress stepped up in trip now. The one to beat.

2.35 #2 QUEEN ISABELLA has been well prepared and drop in class can do the trick.

3.10 Ignore her last start over an inadequate trip, #1 TARINI finished good 3rd over C&D in open class last to last time out and does have a winning chance this time back to her own age. Right from the foot of the weights #11 BOLD MOVE can spring a surprise. Keep an eye.

3.45 Unbeaten #5 IMPAVID arrives here following back-to-back victories and the colt can rack up the hat-trick, looks a sure thing.

4.20 #9 MYSTIC BAY left a favourable impression when winning on debut in MUMBAI and looked one to keep on the right side of. Big run expected with further improvement in the pipeline.

4.55 #1 ARECA ANGEL has changed stables and would be one to consider if he attracted market support else #3 HARMONIA can make her presence felt.

5.30 #1 APOLLO BAY commands respect now eased in grade, his earlier effort over this trip under same rider was notable.

Bangalore 1/6/2019

Bangalore 1/6/2019

2.00 Preference is for #1 TIO RICO who is taken to follow up her C&D victory to notch a double. Look Out and I Do What I Do look the most likely threats on paper.

2.35 #1 SAHARA improved again last time. Her earlier win was eye catching and the drop in grade can see her return to winning ways. #3 VARCASVA rates the biggest danger ahead of Industrialist.

3.10 #11 SEA OF CORTEZ has recorded some impressive times in her morning work and could make a winning debut. Ice Floe and Lightning Bolt are the other first timers to keep an eye.

3.45 #4 ARECA LEGEND will probably have needed his first outing of the season and will appreciate the drop in trip. Hard to beat with top rider repeats. Hyderabad challenger Sitara and Venus Bay appear best of the remainder.

4.20 #7 SHESMYSCRIPT was a clear winner here last time and has a fantastic chance of following up if in the same form over a slightly reduced trip. Sakura and Indian Pharoah look the pair to concentrate on for minor honours.

4.55 Ignore his last effort in PBMM, bred in purple #7 STORM BREAKER shaped with an abundance of promise when close second on debut and is entitled to improve with that experience now under his belt. Harbour Sunshine and Rorito are other newcomers to note going forward.
