2.45 #7 TEQUILA TORNADO is starting to look a shade exposed but still has scope for improvement and has a chance to shed his maiden tag in this moderate field. While #10 SULTANA will appreciate the step up in trip and cannot be discounted.

3.15 #6 GALVARINO got off the mark in style at the second time of asking last season before finishing faraway third (slow out) to good type Abira. Will appreciate step up in trip and is the one to beat. 

3.45 Sparingly raced #3 COSMOS arrives boasting an unbeaten record and is taken to handle the rise to class 1 company. 

4.15 Multi-classic winner #7 WELL CONNECTED is certainly good enough to open her account at winter classic level, and with the assistance of David Allan in what could be a tactical affair, she gets the vote ahead of the promising 3-y-o Gift Of Grace. 

4.45 There is very little to chose on form in this weak field and so it may be worth taking a chance on handicap debutant #2 INVICTA, who has showed some promise earlier and can get off the mark in this set. 

5.15 #7 WHIZZO has been off the track for over a year and a half but was impressive 2nd on debut when last seen and is taken to win a very weak handicap.

2.45 #7 RORITO has some very decent runs in the bank and can score an overdue win with David Allan in saddle. 

3.15 #7 ROMAN SENATOR coming off a win to break maiden in summer and drops in trip, makes more appeal than most. 

3.45 #11 MEGA IKON has not won in some time but has been holding form and can go close to winning on this. While #3 PSYCHIC WARRIOR has been off the track for almost a year but has plenty of class and can win fresh for new connections. Worth a market check.

4.15 #2 ARECA LEGEND will be on speed in a race where they are unlikely to go hard early, and will take the power of beating stepping down in distance. 

4.45 #5 MERLOT strips fitter after a good  lung opener last Friday and the 4yo can be supported to go one better this evening. While #1 ROYAL SCEPTRE has struggled in higher grades in recent months but can pose a significant danger back in handicap event. 

5.15 #2 MULTIFACETED returns to sprinting after failing to stay over longer trips, and could resume her earlier progress.

4-2 ASHWA BAHULA drops back in trip and should make a bold bid. She is the winner of 4 sprint races. 

5-2 SEVEN ELEVEN hold a class edge over these opponents and the booking of Suraj Narredu suggests a bold bid is expected. 

6-1 PATRON SAINT drops in grade and is the only winner in this moderate set of maidens. 

7-7 RAPID FIRE is the one that brings solid recent form to the table and appeals on handicap. 

8-1 SHANDAAR was a bit of a let down when favourite last time, but is taken to make the most of this opportunity with top rider on-board.

Keep an eye on #9 DONTBREAKTHERULES who had a good lung opener last start at an extended trip and market likely to speak volumes about his chances.

1.15 #5 SIR SUPREMO has a wealth of stakes and Graded experience under his belt and that could be crucial for the pick in this maiden affair.

1.45 #6 INDUSTRIALIST has been knocking hard on the door in recent starts and is preferred to earn his maiden bracket. 

However a bigger danger may be #3 DAGOBERT, who has dropped below his last winning mark and is entitled to come on for his good second last time out. 

2.15 #1 CANDLELIGHTQUEEN performed well when third in a class 3 on her last start and can take full advantage of a drop in class. 

2.45 #6 PANAMA has not won in some time but has been holding form before the spell and can go close to winning on this. 

#4 EMIDIO was a winner over this distance on his penultimate appearance and should once again be a strong player at the finish if the raw apprentice handles well. 

3.15 #4 KIRKWOOD was far from disgraced last time out against good type Cosmos and could have too much for these rivals now dropped in class and distance.

3.45 #6 AMBROSIO has been hammering on the door before the spell and could have more to come on his reappearance. He gets the nod over classic War Hammer who may need this run back from set back. 

4.15 Plenty of these have claims but the one that stands out is #1 KNOTTY ASH, who was unbeaten at this course in summer and arrives here on the back of a well fought victory in Dasara sprint championship. 

4.45 #5 ICE FLOE did not fare badly in a Listed race last time so she should be competitive at this level and can strike here. 

5.15 #1 TOKYO ROSE drops in grade for her seasonal reappearance and looks to hold a class edge over these opponents.

#2 DREAM STAR is a long way down in class and generally races near the speed, can upset.

2.00 #3 EXCELLENT has been off the track since July but is well handicapped against these and has given a mock race to defy any ring-rust. 

2.30 #3 REVELATOR Is an improving three-year-old and has been placed twice  including third to Sultan Suleiman over C&D. Looks suited out to 7f and drop in grade positive. 

3.00 #5 AUSPICIOUS arrives here following back-to-back victories and he can rack up the hat-trick. 

3.30 #1 QUESTINA earned a silver medal twice over track and trip and a repeat performance may be enough to get him off the mark.

4.00 A chance can be taken with #2 COLLEGIUM, who has been disappointing of late but seems well prepared and can strike in this modest contest. 

4.30 #1 SEVENTH MILE won in comfortable fashion on her latest start over C&D and is well worth another try under 4kg penalty. 

5.00 #1 REGAL SHOT performed well when good 4th in upper grade on his latest start and can take full advantage of a drop in class.

2.15 #8 SEA OF CORTEZ has done enough in two starts to suggest a maiden claimer of this nature is well within her compass and she gets the nod with 3kg allowance rider to assist. While #1 TONYS PET has struggled in higher grade in summer but would be one to consider if he attracted market support.

2.45 #3 BAZINGA is starting to look like a horse ready to strike from this mark and this race could easily fall his way, and he is passed over very reluctantly. #11 PHOENIX REACHED isn't badly handicapped either and he will pose a significant danger. 

3.15 #7 SLICE OF HEAVEN got off the mark in style at third time of asking last season and shaped there as though there might be more to come. Watch betting. 

3.45 #10 STAR APPEARANCE has not been sighted since August but she is accustomed to competing in better races and has age in favour to land a fourth career victory. While #9 ANGELINO will although need further but is running 6.5kg lighter than last start and is dangerous if allowed an easy lead. 

4.15 #4 ARECA LEGEND finished a close-up third in similar company last month in Mysore and a press of the repeat button may well suffice. Distance ideal. 

4.45 #6 KNOTTY OAK makes most appeal of those with experience and if jumping fluently, might be too good for these. While of the newcomers #1 ASGARDIA is bred to make an impact first time up and needs close watching. 

5.15 The verdict goes in confident fashion to handicap debutant #11 SCHAFENBERG who won easily before the spell and is strongly fancied to provide an encore.
