Bangalore 30/6/2019

2.00 The handicapper has gone very easy on #2 KIRKWOOD having raised the three-year-old just 7 points for her win last start. The way runner-up Northern Alliance from that contest decimated the opposition yesterday ,KIRKWOOD warrants plenty of respect for her bid to follow up. Crack Of Dawn and I Do What I Do should follow her home.

2.30 Constanza and Donna Bella both merit consideration, but preference is for first timers #2 KNOTTY OAK who is catching the eye in morning trials and #8 GIFT OF GRACE who has impressed in her GP’s and also merits consideration for her bloodlines.

3.00 #4 SIMPLY MAGICAL could enjoy the drop in trip and should be in the firing line. #8 DUTY CALL is the main threat whereas #6 Himachali may need this run back from spell.

3.30 It might pay to side with #6 STAR CAVALRY, who is entitled to improve for his promising reappearance over 6f here earlier in the month. Akita Pro and last start winner Corona Del Corsa complete the shortlist.

4.00 Unbeaten duo of War Hammer and Impavid both have strong claims but preference is for #6 TRAFALGAR who was arguably going to be involved in the finish last time but could not get clear run in final furlong and the Kolkata challenger might have more to offer over this distance. #8 WIZARD OF STOCKS is open to stacks of improvement and merits strong consideration.

4.30 #2 WAR HERO is clearly better than his last run would suggest and he does have a winning chance under a 3kg claimer. The main threats appear to be Constantinople and Baymax.

5.00 #7 ISN’T SHE SPECIAL returned from a lay off to score in handsome style over C&D and, on that evidence, could prove difficult to beat. Magistero and Kambaku can fight it out for the minor honours.

5.30 #3 STAR MAN won in comfortable fashion on his latest start and is well worth another try at this level. Others to note are Amber Crown and Sir Bernardino.

DAYS BEST : KIRKWOOD

GOOD LUCK!
